Senegal is set to host the Youth Olympics in Dakar starting October 31, marking the first time an African country will welcome the Olympic flame. Nearly 3,000 athletes from 206 nations will compete under the motto "Africa Welcomes, Dakar Celebrates." Organizers emphasize teranga, the Senegalese tradition of generosity and hospitality, to ensure a warm and inclusive welcome for all participants.
