The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Republic of Korea are set to deepen their partnership in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and private investment. At a meeting in Seoul, Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, AfDB President, and Koo Yun-cheol, Deputy Prime Minister of Korea, discussed plans for the 8th Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Ministerial Conference, marking two decades of collaboration. The conference aims to chart a new phase of partnership focused on technological advancement and economic growth.
